ABOUT AIDA RODRIGUEZ

Aida Rodriguez is a comedian, writer, actor and author—a favorite of critics and fans alike. Esquire Magazine declared of her, This is Rodriguez's genius—using comedy to turn pain into progress, to give voice to the voiceless, and to laugh instead of cry. Aida's comedy special Fighting Words is streaming on Max and she was a standout on the Netflix, Tiffany Haddish produced hit series They Ready. She is a key collaborator on the platform’s The Max Entre Nos franchise, which features the brightest up-and-coming comedy talent. Aida was not only a breakout star of the series, she also recently stepped behind the camera to direct and produce its current batch of specials. She is a guest writer for Pop Sugar, The LA Times, Buzzfeed and Oprah Daily as well as a regular commentator on The Young Turks. Her Harper Collins memoir Legitimate Kid is award winning and is making its rounds with critics and the everyday people she wrote it for. She is the host of Say What You Mean with Aida Rodriguez on the Forward Network, a comedy driven podcast guesting some of the most recognizable names in pop culture.

CLUB RULES

Are there any age restrictions?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's shows are 18 and over. All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building. We also ID for the purchase of all alcohol.

Is there a drink minimum?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's requires that you purchase two items from the menu when you come to see a show. This can be any combination of food/beverage and does NOT include items purchased in The Cellar or at the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse downstairs.

Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $3.50 charge per person per each item until the 2 item minimum is met. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission seating?

• General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.

• Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.

Please Note: We do not offer a standing room section and cannot take seating requests or guarantee seats in a specific location.

All tables are in a "community seating" arrangement, so you may end up seating with other groups.

How can I make sure my party sits together?

• While we cannot guarantee seats together, General Admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.

• Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.

Please Note: We will only seat complete groups. Your group must enter the showroom together to be seated together. In addition, we do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee you seats in a specific location.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime for better seat selection.

Please Note: Late arrivals are not guaranteed seats and are not entitled to a refund. Management reserves the right to release your tickets if you do not arrive by the scheduled showtime. The box office closes 15 minutes after the start of the show at which point no entry will be allowed.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

Is the club fully accessible?

No, we are not handicap accessible at this time. We do not have an elevator and are up 1 flight of stairs.
