ABOUT JOSH ADAM MEYERS

No one can do what Josh Adam Meyers is doing with comedy and music.

1 part stand up comic, 1 part rock star, Josh brings comedy and music together with his signature high energy, raspy voice, and command of the stage; combining killer jokes with music, he is the best of both worlds. Everything in the club is part of the show; the staff, the audience, and you never know when a full rock band will join him on stage.

Growing up in the Washington D.C. area, Josh was a funny kid who played in bands. Now as a professional comedian and musician - he has come full circle. Josh spent the summer of 2023 opening for Jelly Roll in front of 20k a night at 45 different arenas and amphitheaters around the country, with more high profile concert dates coming in 2024.

For Bill Burr, Josh Adam Meyers tours arenas with the man, he was featured on Bill Burr’s Friends Who Kill (Netflix), The Ringers (Comedy Central), and can also be seen voicing ‘DJ’ Howlin Hank’ on Bill Burr’s F is for Family (Netflix).

Josh Adam Meyers is a nationally touring headliner performing at clubs and festivals as a stand-up. He has appeared at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival as a New Face in 2013 and continues to be a regular on the festival performing on The Nasty Show and other festival favorites. Josh has performed at Madison Square Garden, Kennedy Center, Netflix Is A Joke Festival, JFL Toronto, NY Comedy Festival, Moontower Comedy, Bonnaroo, Bumbershoot, Blue Whale, Outsidelands, RIOT LA, Bridgetown, Life is Beautiful, and Clusterfest amongst others.

He is the creator and host of The Goddamn Comedy Jam, a live comedy show where famous comedians sing a cover song with a live band, which continues to be one of the most popular live shows in Los Angeles at its homebase, The Comedy Store. GDCJ inspired a TV version and a special on Comedy Central. The show has toured the continent performing on the live festival circuit in front of thousands of die-hard comedy fans.

On “The 500 Podcast with Josh Adam Meyers”, he combs through Rolling Stone Magazine’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time list, the show was a Spotify Original from 2019-2020 until Spotify spent all their money on Joe Rogan.

See you at the show.

CLUB RULES

Are there any age restrictions?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's shows are 18 and over. All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building. We also ID for the purchase of all alcohol.

Is there a drink minimum?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's requires that you purchase two items from the menu when you come to see a show. This can be any combination of food/beverage and does NOT include items purchased in The Cellar or at the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse downstairs.

Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $3.50 charge per person per each item until the 2 item minimum is met. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission seating?

• General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.

• Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.

Please Note: We do not offer a standing room section and cannot take seating requests or guarantee seats in a specific location.

All tables are in a "community seating" arrangement, so you may end up seating with other groups.

How can I make sure my party sits together?

• While we cannot guarantee seats together, General Admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.

• Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.

Please Note: We will only seat complete groups. Your group must enter the showroom together to be seated together. In addition, we do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee you seats in a specific location.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime for better seat selection.

Please Note: Late arrivals are not guaranteed seats and are not entitled to a refund. Management reserves the right to release your tickets if you do not arrive by the scheduled showtime. The box office closes 15 minutes after the start of the show at which point no entry will be allowed.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

Is the club fully accessible?

No, we are not handicap accessible at this time. We do not have an elevator and are up 1 flight of stairs.
