Kleon the Comedian (born Keith Kleon Norman) is a popular stand-up comedian, actor, and filmmaker from West Baltimore, Maryland. He does not have a dedicated Wikipedia page, but he is well-known for his viral social media presence and raw storytelling about dating and everyday life. He started performing in his teens, famously winning his first local comedy competition at age 19 with no formal preparation. With a career spanning over two decades, he is known for not writing down or heavily preparing his sets, instead opting to converse with the crowd and riff on real-life situations, particularly male-female dynamics. Beyond stand-up, Kleon operates as an independent creator, producing short films and digital content, and selling his independent stand-up comedy audio projects directly to fans via Kleon The Comedian Net. Keith Kleon Norman, professionally known as Kleon da Comedian, has seen a meteoric rise on social media with his playboy-ish charm and hilarious skits recalling stories of his past deeds to his “on phone” friend ‘Tony’. Not to mention the female catered “how to” videos. After thirteen years in comedy, Kleon’s time has come.

Through clever stories and his “off the cuff” humor, Kleon has managed to build a cult-like following of fans that anticipate viewing his videos on social media and his appearances in comedy clubs and theaters in their city.

Kleon has shared the stage with some of the most renowned comedians in the country such as Bill Bellamy at the Met Theater in Philadelphia, King of Comedy legend DL Hughley at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and the ‘Queen of Comedy’ herself, Sommore, at the Texas Arena in Dallas to name a few. Furthermore, he has graced the stage with veterans like Joe Clair, Talent, Sid Davis, Rodney Perry, Damon Williams and others.

With nearly three hundred thousand followers on Facebook and another three hundred thousand on Instagram, steadily increasing by the day, Kleon’s national fan base is growing immensely. After selling out comedy clubs in Cleveland, Chicago and Baltimore, it is fair to say that Kleon da Comedian has arrived.

Additionally, in 2010, Kleon won the ‘Warner Brothers Short Film Contest’ for his film, “Standing in the Mountains.” That opportunity provided the momentum for the self-taught film editor, videographer, director and producer to embrace his multi-talented abilities. In 2012, he independently produced the film “Bluffin”, which garnered much small-scale success with over 20,000 copies sold by old-fashioned guerrilla marketing, word of mouth.

Are there any age restrictions?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's shows are 18 and over. All parties must have valid government-issued IDs to enter the building. We also ID for the purchase of all alcohol.

Is there a drink minimum?

The Comedy Club at Duckworth's requires that you purchase two items from the menu when you come to see a show. This can be any combination of food/beverage and does NOT include items purchased in The Cellar or at the Duckworth's Grill & Taphouse downstairs.

Please Note: If you choose not to order anything in the showroom, there is a $3.50 charge per person per each item until the 2 item minimum is met. This charge covers our costs so we can continue providing you with great laughs!

What is the difference between Reserved and General Admission seating?

• General Admission seating is assigned on a first-come, first-sat basis as you enter the showroom. The earlier you arrive, the better your seats will be.

• Reserved seats are assigned for you by management on the night of the show. They are the best seats available for your party size at the time they are assigned.

Please Note: We do not offer a standing room section and cannot take seating requests or guarantee seats in a specific location.

All tables are in a "community seating" arrangement, so you may end up seating with other groups.

How can I make sure my party sits together?

• While we cannot guarantee seats together, General Admission groups should arrive at least 45 minutes before showtime and enter the showroom as a group for the best chance of being seated together.

• Reserved groups who purchase tickets in a single order will automatically be assigned seating together. Reserved ticket holders who purchase separately are not guaranteed seating together. Please see your email confirmation for details if your group purchased separately.

Please Note: We will only seat complete groups. Your group must enter the showroom together to be seated together. In addition, we do not take seating requests and cannot guarantee you seats in a specific location.

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to showtime for better seat selection.

Please Note: Late arrivals are not guaranteed seats and are not entitled to a refund. Management reserves the right to release your tickets if you do not arrive by the scheduled showtime. The box office closes 15 minutes after the start of the show at which point no entry will be allowed.

What is the refund policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges.

Is the club fully accessible?

No, we are not handicap accessible at this time. We do not have an elevator and are up 1 flight of stairs.
